Targetbase Named as a Leader in Database Marketing Services by Independent Research Firm

Report recognizes Targetbase's leadership with top scores in analytics, strategy offering, program support and creative capabilities

DALLAS, Jan. 20, 2011 — Targetbase, a leading U.S.-based direct marketing agency known for its expertise in understanding consumer data, translating that data into intelligence, and using it to produce spectacular creative with measurable results, today announced that the company has been cited as a leader by Forrester Research, Inc. in its January 12, 2011 Forrester Wave report, "The Forrester Wave™: US Database Marketing Service Providers, Q1 2011."

To assess how well U.S. database marketing service providers meet the evolving needs of the market and stack up against each other, Forrester evaluated the strengths and weaknesses among top marketing service providers across a range of business, marketing and technology criteria. Among the vendors evaluated, Targetbase received the highest overall ratings in three categories related to its current service offering: analytics, execution and fulfilment, and services and support. In addition, Targetbase received the second highest rating for its customer feedback, and was among the top rated firms in terms of management team.

In its report, Forrester said "Targetbase stands out for its analytics and strategy offering as well as its program support and creative capabilities."

The report also noted that "Targetbase is the most integrated of the providers we evaluated, combining analytical, strategy, creative, and marketing technology skill sets to help clients turn customer insights into marketing strategy and programs."

To develop its new Forrester Wave report, Forrester evaluated eight marketing service providers that manage a combined 1,200 outsourced databases and generate database-related revenues in excess of $1.3 billion. As part of the evaluation, Forrester interviewed more than 40 reference clients and surveyed 137 additional clients in an online survey.
